How to Enroll Your Child(ren)
Applying for Admission
Families seeking admission to El Jardín de Los Niños or The Children’s Garden must have children who are at least 23 months old and not yet eligible for Kindergarten.
El Jardín de Los Niños and The Children’s Garden offers six classes each with ten to fourteen (10-14) children. All new and returning children are required to submit a completed Brightwheel application and fee to the school during our annual enrollment period. Admission priority is given in the following order:
- Returning students and their siblings who apply by the initial enrollment deadline.
- Families from our current wait list.
- Remaining El Jardín de Los Niños and The Children’s Garden spots will be filled by any additional applicants based on the order in which we receive their applications during our Brightwheel open enrollment. When maximum capacity is reached, a new waiting list will be established.

El Jardín de Los Niños/The Children’s Garden will enroll families without discrimination on such bases as race, color, creed, age, religion, gender, orientation, national origin, marital status or disability.
Special Needs Children
El Jardín de Los Niños/The Children’s Garden management will work closely with parents of special need children to carefully evaluate each child’s care needs and the school’s ability to meet these needs. Eligible applicants will be enrolled in our program if it is determined that the child can participate in and benefit from the program/services this school offers. Enrollment is based on our honest ability to make reasonable accommodations to provide safe care to, not only a child with special needs, but all of our enrolled children.
