Applying for Admission
Families seeking admission to El Jardin de Los Ninos or The Children’s Garden must have children who are at least 24 months old and not yet eligible for Kindergarten.
In order to access the application links, you will be required to log in to your existing account with our Brightwheel software or, if you do not already have one, register for a new account.
All new AND recurring children are require to submit a completed BrightWheel application and fee to the school during our annual enrollment period.
If your child will not be old enough to start in August, but you would like to enroll them later on in the year, you can add them to the wait list.
When Does Registration Open?
- Feb. 3rd - Feb. 16th for Currently Enrolled Families
- Feb. 17th for Families on Waitlist
- March 3rd for the Public
Our spots are first come first serve. We do NOT do a lottery, and spots fill up quickly, so please make sure to turn in your applications as soon as you can.
We require one $50 application per family applying. Regardless of how many children/locations/semesters you are applying for, you will only need to pay one application fee per family.

Admission Priority Order:
- Returning students and their siblings (who apply by the initial deadline)
- Families from our current waiting list
- Any additional applicants – Remaining spots will be filled based on the order in which applications are received during our Brightwheel open enrollment.
When maximum capacity is reached, a new waiting list will be established.
